My first time going to the dry cleaners for South Asian pieces and it was very professional, organized, and simple. Highly recommend!

1-Star Review: Poor Handling, Incomplete Cleaning, and Broken Refund Promise I brought my comforter in for cleaning. When I returned a few days later to pick it up, it had clearly been dragging on the store floor and was dirty again. They still charged my card. They offered to reclean it. They did, but the stains were still there. I asked them to credit back the cleaning fee. They agreed—but never actually issued the credit. I had to dispute the charge with American Express, which refunded me. As of now, Amex still hasn’t heard from the dry cleaner. Disappointing service from start to finish: careless handling of the item, incomplete results, and a refund promise they didn’t keep. I won’t be returning.

I am new to Top Hat. My experience hasn’t been good. I was charged for Dry cleaning even though I requested my shirts be laundered. I have sent messages and called, no responses. Not clear on how to pickup my clothes, I have not received a text with code. Frustrated

I’ve tried top hat, cleaners three or four times now. I’ll keep coming back to them, as they do a good job and their prices are reasonable. The process at first was a little awkward, but it was easy to learn and now find it convenient.

Top Hat Cleaners in Bartonville is excellent! I’ve brought my traditional Indian wear here twice now, and the service is always top-notch. They are fast (24-hour turnaround!), reasonably priced, and very careful with delicate fabrics. Definitely my go-to spot for dry cleaning from now on!

I’ve used this dry cleaning service twice now, once in January for a suit and in April for a down comforter. This cleaning service is great! The customer service top tier! When I had my comforter cleaned there was a miscommunication about pickup/delivery. Jess handled this kindly and in a timely manner. I will continue to use this dry cleaner. Prices are great too!

This was my first time using top hat, and I am very pleased with the pricing which is way less than what I pay at my regular dry cleaners and also when I rung the doorbell there was someone to help me walk through the next steps because I was picking up and dropping off at the same time I highly recommend top hat. You will definitely save money which is much needed in today’s economy.

Great place, great people, great price! What else could you ask for in a cleaner? The low overhead prevents sticker shock as with most nearby places. Go there and you will be very pleased. Most of all, I met the owners who seem to genuinely care about their customer's experience. I look forward to making this place my one and only for all of my garment cleaning needs.

First time I used this service. Love the 24/7 access. I also love the easy automated service for drop-off and pick up.

It took me a couple of minutes to do it the first time but was really pretty easy. I love the idea. Maybe they can have a robot deliver to your car in the near future.

Really great concept for a dry cleaning business. I love that you can drop off or pick up 24/7. Very quick turn around, great prices and they even give you the same laundry bag to take with you so you dont have fill out your information each time.

Drop off and pick up was so simple and convenient!

Extremely disappointing experience. My husband brought two suits here to be dry cleaned and both came back damaged. One suit now has a burned spot and is unwearable. We understand that mistakes can happen, but when we asked if anything could be done to make it right, the only offer was a $20 credit for future services. That’s not a reasonable solution for a ruined suit and unfortunately we won’t be returning. Customer service and accountability matter.

If you just need your clothes cleaned with a good price I would come here. However I would go somewhere else if you need anything past that. I had a stain I wanted fixed and since they are always open and had 9 5 star reviews I figured I would try it. These are my favorite jeans and I am not sure what stained them but figured a dry cleaner could fix it. In the notes section of my paper slip I said there is a stain on the front right thigh that I would like removed. They did not call me and tell me that they were not able to remove it. I understand still paying for the service because they did it however please tell me you could not do the task I needed. Or asses the garment and tell me I will need to go somewhere else. Not one star because it is cheap, quick, and convenient. But they could not fulfill my needs or communicate that. *I paid 5.40 so it is priced well. That is why I am not to frustrated.

Absolutely terrible experience. I dropped off my clothes on November 26 and it is now December 4, and I still haven’t received them. I’ve emailed three times and left numerous voicemails—all ignored. I asked for the code and stall number to retrieve my clothes, as they’re supposed to provide, and received no response whatsoever. The phone number on the door is useless—never answered by a real person—and the number on the wall is actually a Medicare scam line. Do not trust this place. The automated messages are a joke, and the service is nonexistent. Avoid at all costs.

Great cleaning and good prices . Drop off and pick up takes a bit of getting used to . The shop is unmanned and automated . There is a hidden computer on the door , but it looks like a regular sign . Took me a while and a phone call to realize that the sign IS ACTUALLY A COMPUTER SCREEN . You have to tap it for the screen to change so you can add your account information and pin # for pick up . Now I understand the system, will use again ..

I was visiting from out of town and found via instagram this place. Truly so so easy starting from the drop off process to pick-up! Love that this is 24/7 service too. Super convenient to pick-up my clothes and not worry about trying to move my schedule around to pick them up. Clothes came out looking fresh and A+! Wish they were more dry cleaners like this place! It’s super modern too!

I really appreciate this type of dry cleaning service. It’s 24/7 so you can drop off at any time of day and they’ll deliver to you or you can pickup. I also appreciate the level of customer service they provide. The people at the Flowermound location were really kind and helped me a lot when it came to dry cleaning services for my wedding dress. I hope more people will use Top Hat for their dry cleaning services in the future.

I really enjoy technology and automation. This is a great place to check that out. Grab a bag and drop your clothes off. Touch a screen and get your clothes back. You do take the bag with you so you already have it loaded for the next drop off. Getting my shirts cleaned here is wildly cheap and I can go whenever, like 3am to pick up or drop off. Got my pants altered too. They basically do everything, whoever THEY is!

The best cleaners in town, hands down! I had a suit jacket that a former cleaners' location I used claimed that they couldn't get this white stain out, but since coming to Top Hat Cleaners, they've fixed that issue and then some with other garments. Also, the convenience of being able to drop off at any time of the day with the option of delivery to your home is outstanding! My wife has met the owners and is also very pleased with their quality of service and timeliness. This place rocks!

We’ve used a lot of dry cleaners over the years, and originally picked Tophat just because it was close by. But after a few bad experiences elsewhere, we quickly realized how rare it is to find a place like this. They’ve always done a great job—clothes come back clean, no stains missed, and no damage. What really makes them stand out, though, is their 24/7 automated system. You can drop off any time, even late at night, and pickups are just as easy. They text you a pin code when your order is ready, so you’re not stuck trying to make it before closing hours. When our schedule was packed with work and kids’ activities, that kind of flexibility made a huge difference. Pricing is reasonable—definitely not the cheapest, but well worth it for the quality and convenience. Tophat has earned our loyalty.

I’m in town Christmas week, and needed 2 heirloom quilts cleaned to give as gifts. Top hat did a great job, took care with processing both quilts, returned them quickly (less than 7 hrs turnaround time), and charged a reasonable fee. What else could you ask for?

No one was available during the hours they were supposed to have an attendee on duty (M-F 8am to 3pm). Went on Friday at noon. There’s an automated system now, but I have a comforter to pick up that doesn’t fit through their kiosk. I paid online so they have my money but I can’t get my comforter. Will not be returning.

I used to use this cleaner all the time, however once they switched to the automated services the quality went downhill fast. My clothing was returned unclean and sprayed with men's cologne to cover the fact it was not laundered; just awful!

They seem to use third party to actually do the dry cleaning. They don't seem to have much care. Got a huge iron crease right on the front collar.

When I moved from Scottsdale Arizona, I was looking for a great drycleaner as I have luxury designer clothing. Checking the reviews this cleaner had 5 stars and was conveniently located to my home. After many times leaving very nice clothing, they came back many times damaged, fade in color, shrink, etc. When I would address this, all I got was we follow the instructions on the garment label. So, I kept giving them a chance until I dropped off a dress that I have gotten cleaned numerous times by different cleaners over the years. They destroyed it and refused to even extend any type of compensation and continued to defend their process! Rather than do the right thing or a keep a loyal customer given the number of chances I accepted their excuses and mediocre services. I WOULD NOT trust them with your clothes.. They have destroyed many of mine with no remedy for me, not even a refund of service! The most they can do is laundry! BE CAREFUL! I would respectfully request the BBB to look into them and other poor reviews left on yelp and google for the same issue. I have left a review even though they are NOT BBB accredited! I should have checked that first.

We used to love the service here but recently they installed some janky automated crap that doesn’t work. I paid my bill and 5 hours later the system hasn’t updated to recognize my payment and give me my item. Why is it so hard to just retrieve my item from a person and pay someone on site?! I’m all for efficiency but this system has so many lags and it is just awful. I won’t be using this cleaner ever again so long as they have this system and poor customer service now.

Top Hat is reliable and friendly!

One day about a year ago, my previous dry cleaner made yet another mistake with my order. I decided to try other businesses, but figured that they’re all pretty much the same. Then, I found AVALONE, and I’ve never looked back. Fantastic service, great customer service like I’ve never seen before, and great prices! I’ve waited almost a year to write this, thinking they were going to close or prices would suddenly spike. But they really are to be believed. I want to recognize them for the fact that they are absolutely exceptional at what they do. Thanks to Joyce, and everyone there for making dropping off and picking up clothes something that I actually look forward to!

Update 7/20/26 - ownership has changed and no longer Avalone but now Top Hat. Giving new ownership a chance, and will more than once, but today I noticed the quality isn’t the same. Ironing wasn’t as crisp. Avalone would button the top button plus a 2nd button further down my dress shirts, always expertly pressed. Today only the top button was buttoned, which leaves the shirt open to wrinkle. In my opinion, this is a sign of a lesser quality work. I’m not out, and will give Top Hat more than one chance. Avalone did quality work, and hoping Top Hat has the same standards and customer service.

I would give zero stars if I could. This place is the dry cleaners in my neighborhood and the first time I went they shrunk my sweater and ruined a skirt trying to remove a spot. I asked them to rectify the problem and the employee working said the owners were out of the country for a month and nothing could be done without them. Yet months later no one called me to provide any solutions for the damage they caused. I do not recommend this dry cleaners. Empire Dry Cleaners off mockingbird lane is the best!

WARNING DO NOT USE!!!!This place is beyond horrible. How they became a cleaners is beyond me. They will.damage your clothes, and send your stuff back worse than it was before you sent it to them. Once you give a bad review they will make an offer and then have some trash lawyer send you a letter via text.Take your business somewhere else. I have documentation for everything I said

Additionally, their prices are very affordable, and good pricing to be honest. Dry cleaning places have started to get really expensive in some places, and this place has really amazing prices. The quality of their work is amazing, I am honestly speechless, and very satisfied with everything. I think I am definitely going to make this place my permanent dry cleaning place! :))

We have tried lots of dry cleaners in multiple cities. The folks at Avalones go above and beyond. I don’t usually do reviews, but they are friendly and have excellent communication. They take excellent care of the clothes and have high standards that they meet even if it takes them extra time and attention. Their prices are very reasonable. I’d give them an extra star if I could.

I have been going to Top Hat for years. They are by far the BEST cleaners I have ever used. Last year the owner came in on a Sunday to deliver a dress that my daughter needed for a dance that night because I forgot to pick it up on Saturday. The owners are friendly and always happy to see you.
